Nell & the Festival of Spooks
This is a personal game project that I've been working on for the past year. It was finally released on Halloween 2020 and exhibited at ComicxGames in 2021.
I wrote the 13,000 word interactive story using the Ren’Py game engine, created the character sprites, props, backgrounds, and published it on itch.io.
The game is a slice-of-life visual novel about a seemingly ordinary girl named Nell, who has a love for horror.
An eclipse transports her to a spooky town where she gets enrolled into a fancy academy.
